From 24 to 27 February 2026, IFEMA Madrid will host the 25th edition of SICUR, the International Security Exhibition

In aquatic search and rescue operations, every minute counts. AquaEye is a portable sonar with artificial intelligence designed to locate people underwater quickly, accurately and safely, without the need to deploy divers in the initial phase of the operation.

At Casco Antiguo Oceanografía, we have had the privilege of equipping the ODÓN DE BUEN vessel, built at Astilleros Armon Vigo, with state-of-the-art technology that will facilitate oceanographic research

In May, we organised two seminars on remote oceanographic monitoring in Panama and Colombia. We shared cutting-edge technologies, installed a real-time buoy in Coiba, and held live ROV demonstrations. Thank you to everyone who made these events possible!

Casco Antiguo announces the forthcoming delivery of two ALR underwater vehicles to ARDITI in Madeira. The equipment, developed by the UK's NOC, will extend the exploration and monitoring capabilities of the marine environment to a depth of 6,000 metres.

At Casco Antiguo, our commitment to the exploration and understanding of the oceans is unwavering. We are proud to announce that on November 29 and 30, in collaboration with our partner IDOM, we installed a state-of-the-art meteo-oceanographic station in Playa Serena, Roquetas del Mar, in an exciting project supported by Red.es and the Roquetas City Council. 

Hydrography intervenes in all water sources of the world, both fresh and salty (seawater), but only in specific studies of its depth, shape of the bottom and location, while oceanography is focused on all the oceans, its intervention with the continents and the atmosphere together with the study of the living beings that inhabit there.
