TERES, the ROV from Casco Antiguo Profesional

A compact ROV ready to sail

This ROV, with great stability and outstanding manoeuvrability, consists of eight brushless T200 propellers and a speed control system (ESC), mounted on a robust chassis.

It also offers the possibility of including accessories and tools, such as an articulated arm, 360º sonar or positioning systems.

Its strong frame and high-quality construction materials guarantee optimal performance even in the most hostile underwater conditions.

Power from the Surface

One of the spearheads of this set is its power supply system. The BlueROV2's native batteries have been replaced by a surface power system, housed in a hard case and delivering 1,100 watts of power.

This makes the TERESROV one of the underwater drones with the best thrust-to-weight ratio in its class for demanding tasks.

Powerful adjustable lights provide excellent illumination for live HD video transmission.

According to Javier Llamas, sales controller at Casco Antiguo Profesional, this ROV is ‘ideal for operations in shallow or moderate waters, but also highly capable of performing tasks efficiently at depths between 100 and 300 metres, thanks to the possibility of extending the umbilical cable’.

Like all Casco Antiguo products, the TERESROV has been developed with high-quality parts, meticulous design and ‘robust reliability with proven success in the field under the most demanding conditions for the unit,’ concludes Llamas.

The TERESROV uses QGroundControl open source software and Navigator autopilot to offer autonomous capabilities rarely seen in mini-ROVs and configuration options to suit any working situation.

To complete the package, Casco Antiguo has developed a winch compatible with the power supply system of this small but mighty ROV.
