This is a simple and robust manual indicator, which uses multiple echo waves, ignoring coatings and only measuring the thickness of the remaining metal.
The Multigauge 3000 Feeler Gauge is a rugged, easy-to-use feeler gauge. The meter has been tested to a depth of 500 meters and has the ability to transfer measurements to an area unit with Communicator software with the simple addition of a replacement cap. It was designed and built to survive extremely harsh conditions in marine and subsea industries around the world. The multimeter uses multiple echoes, which means measurements can be easily taken without removing coatings up to 6mm thick, and the display allows the diver to see it, even with reduced visibility.
