Hand-held (kick) net for watercourse bottom sampling

Effectively being a kick net sampler our Surber Sampler was designed to collect any organic and anorganic solids swirled up from the ground directly in front of it.
In contrast to the slightly smaller AQEM dip net the surber type defines an exact area to sample from by its frame design.
The dimensions of the Surber Sampler’s detachable net bag are 32 x 32 cm in net opening and 70 cm in length. Its stainless steel frame includes a receiver of 20 mm inner diameter for connecting a telescopic handling rod (not included) to the net.

The standard mesh size of a Surber Sampler dip net is 500 µm, available mesh sizes range from 100 µm to 1,000 µm.
