Expendable Conductivity / Temperature / Depth

HT-XCTD can be launched into water while the survey vessel keeps moving to measure seawater temperature, salinity and sound velocity profiling data up to 2000m deep. It can send the data back real-time and rapidly. So it is very suitable to be used on large vessel working for large-area measurements without stop to save time and enhance the working efficiency.

Features

Excellent Performance:Utilizes high-precision, fast-response sensors, high-accuracy pressure sensors highly sensitive inductive conductivity sensors, and “time-of-flight” sound velocity sensors.

High Accuracy: Employs long-distance real-time data transmission technology in seawater, with 0.01mm diameter high-strength fine copper wire, enabling stable data transmission at a deployment speed of 12 knots and a measurement depth of 2000 meters, ensuring probe deployment success rate and data validity.

High precision: Adopting the internationally accepted point calibration method, combined with independently designed and built automated probe calibration lines, can eliminate external interference during the calibration process to the greatest extent and improve probe measurement accuracy and production efficiency.

Long Battery Life: Incorporates advanced low power consumption technology to ensure the probe’s storage time is not less than 4 years.

Easy to Use: Features a newly designed launcher and deck unit that are lightweight and compact allowing one person to independently complete deployment operations.
