The ScanFish Tropheus is a ROTV especially designed for UXO detection that eliminates data uncertainty with high-quality seabed imaging. It functions as a depressor of any side-scan sonar and is the optimum solution in terms of quality, efficiency and safety.

The intelligent control of the ScanFish Tropheus ensures that the ROTV together with the side-scan sonar mounted on the underside maintain a constant, fixed altitude in proportion to the seabed – and far closer than solutions without a depressor.

Enhancing the manoeuvrability and flight path capabilities of ScanFish

ScanFish 3D steering is a hardware solution that augments the navigational capabilities of EIVA's range of ScanFish remotely operated towed vehicles (ROTVs) by introducing horizontal movement control capabilities.

This enhancement – enabled through the addition of four carefully engineered side-mounted flaps – delivers ScanFish operators the freedom to navigate the vehicle horizontally through the water column, in addition to the vertical pathing capability of a base model ScanFish.

ScanFish 3D steering is available as a retrofit onto existing ScanFish III series units or as part of new units at the same price.
