Ranger delivers high resolution, greater range, and increased area coverage rates (ACR) at a remarkable. The innovative design makes it the smallest SAS solution on the market for AUVs. Ranger consumes a fraction of the power of other SAS systems; so, it won’t drain your vehicle’s tank nearly as fast as other SAS offerings. This translates to more endurance for missions or added payloads for the AUV. Sea Scan Ranger provides constant 3 cm resolution at ranges of 150 meters per side. It is the ideal sonar for applications that require ultra-high resolution imagery; need to be power efficient; and need to detect very small targets on the first pass.
