We are pleased to announce that we will be present at the upcoming Aquasur fair, which will take place from March 19th to 21st, 2024 in Puerto Montt, Chile! 

Considered as a benchmark event, being the largest aquaculture fair in the southern hemisphere, it provides a unique space for the promotion and development of the aquaculture industry, as well as for the exchange of information on scientific, technological, and environmental advances.

At the booth, we will have the presence of manufacturers of multiparametric probes NKE, the ADCP product line from Nortek, and the Qysea FiFish ROVs, perfect for various underwater applications. 

On behalf of Casco Antiguo, our colleague Gustavo Rival, Director of Oceanography in Latin America, will have the honor of giving an interesting talk on Thursday, March 21st at 3:15 PM in room 2 Arcoiris (Rainbow). 

The talk is titled "SEABED, GEOREFERENCING INSTRUMENTS, INSTRUMENTS FOR DETECTION OF SHIPWRECKS, SCOPE, COVERAGE, AND WORLDWIDE USE." Don't miss this opportunity to learn about advances and projects related to the seabed and global georeferencing! 

For the DVL presentation, we will have the technical staff from Nortek present. This is a product that estimates the speed relative to the seabed by sending acoustic waves and measuring the frequency change of the received echo. The importance of this oceanographic buoy as an indicative element to know the water quality is essential for making decisions in aquaculture processes.
