OPS CORE FAST CARBON HELMET
Description:
FAST tactical helmet with super high cut, anti-shock shell made with a hybrid uni-directional composite design of the most advanced carbon and fiberglass materials. Compatible with FAST helmet accessories and headband accessories.
- Carbon helmet with super high-cut shell geometry that extends critical coverage over the rear occipital bone without load carrier interference, and optimizes weight distribution for greater stability, integration, balance and improved comfort.
- The ear cut geometry is 16 mm higher than the FAST Carbon High Cut housing shape, allowing clearance for larger communication headsets. Super High Cut skeleton rails offer a lower profile with a 30% weight reduction compared to the FAST MT Super High Cut rails.
- Super High Cut ARC wedges offer additional accessory attachment points on the FAST hull without occupying the railroad tracks
- Features a lightweight Modular Bungee Shell (MBS) that reduces the risks of snagging and interference. Carabiner clips enhance NVG retention and stability.
- Molded liner features a patented recessed slot, which accommodates over-the-head communication headsets without interference or discomfort to the wearer, and the ability to remove and put on the carbon helmet without removing the headset.
- Vented Lux Liner features an expanded polypropylene (EPP) liner, which offers enhanced impact protection, and molded ventilation holes are integrated with the shell to provide increased airflow and reduce heat stress.
- Helmets come standard with right eye dominant (left-hand buckle) low-profile Occ-Dial Fitband retention.
- A dominant retention for the left eye (right-hand buckle) is available and can be purchased separately.
