DESCRIPTION

The StarFish systems from Blueprint Subsea are the most portable sonars for shallow-water applications available in the market, designed to be easily manageable and user-friendly.

Built with an innovative design specifically for the professional underwater inspection sector, and utilizing the most advanced digital CHIRP acoustic technology.

StarFish is designed to be plug & play, connecting to your Windows PC or laptop via a USB connection. This simple setup allows you to capture high-resolution real-time digital images at longer distances without compromising quality.

The StarFish imaging systems are ideal for topographic applications in shallow waters, reaching depths of up to 35m or 100m in the 452F model. They are used for inspecting a waterway, identifying a target site, or assessing potential hazards before divers enter the water.

The 452F system is designed for easy hull mounting on a small vessel. It operates at a 450kHz CHIRP transmission, providing wide sonar coverage of up to 100 meters / 300 feet per channel (200 meters / 600 feet total swath) with excellent definition and clear imaging.
